Fall into Reading: A Challenge for Adults
Demonstrate your love of the Library by participating in the “Fall into Reading” challenge specifically designed for adults! Create a READsquared account using the app, or at oshlib.readsquared.com, log the minutes or books you read this fall, and win prizes. There are challenges if you’re looking to expand your reading, and book lists to discover new titles. During Ontario Public Library Week, there will be book prize draws, and everyone will be entered!
 

Design a Bookmark Contest
Are you the next great bookmark designer? Visit our contest page (click here) to download the template and design a bookmark that showcases your love for the Library. Submit your creation for a chance to win, have your bookmark featured on our website, or printed and made available for the whole community! Open to children and teens.
 

Meet the Author: Denise Davy

Denise Davy is a nationally recognized award-winning journalist and author of Her Name Was Margaret: Life and Death on the Streets. Exploring the tragic life of a woman she met while working as a reporter, the book was included in the Toronto Star’s “must-read” books for 2021.

Love Your Library Patio Story Time

Join us on the Children’s patio as we sing songs, read stories, make a fun craft and give away fun surprises to celebrate Ontario Public Library Week and showcase Library love. The program will comply with COVID-19 regulations. Family program.
